On Wednesday, Oct. 28, El Dorado High School hosted its first AVID family night. Over 100 families attended the event, which featured tacos, ice breakers and presentations by EDHS’s AVID students.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house after watching inspirational videos produced by some of the district’s most successful AVID students. Students told the crowd how AVID has positively influenced their life, and how they now feel well-equipped to be successful at EDHS and beyond.
