Drive students visit local fire station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 2, Ruby Drive Elementary School students in took a field trip to local Placentia Fire Station 35.\u00a0 Firefighters at the station demonstrated\u00a0how to put on all of their gear, showed the students every detail of the fire engine itself, took\u00a0the classes on a tour of the inside of the fire station, and even took group photos next to the fire truck!\u00a0 The\u00a0Cougars were so excited\u00a0for the opportunity to ask intelligent questions relating to their new language arts curriculum theme of Government at Work.<\/p>\n<p>The classes that attended were Mrs. Morrill\u2019s second graders, Mrs. Hoff\u2019s second graders, and Mrs. Valerio\u2018s (Perez) SDC class.<\/p>\n<p><a
