On\u00a0Thursday, November 9, approximately 130 Yorba Linda High School (YLHS) seniors participated in a business expo competition where they presented\u00a0a business pitch to over 20 judges from the Yorba Linda community. Students worked for over a month developing their business idea, creating prototypes\/visuals, researching the market\/industry, and crafting their business pitch.<\/div>\n

The judges had the challenging task of distinguishing five business teams as finalists. Congratulations to the following Mustang seniors for their extraordinary work:<\/div>\n

YLHS extends\u00a0thanks to Will Taormina & Rachel Herzog from the National Startup League for their guidance and organization of this event; Lloyd Walls and Samiya Hai for putting this project-based-learning experience together; members from the Yorba Linda community including several members of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce for judging and supporting the event; and Shea Runge, Meshell Maes and the YLHS custodial staff for providing the facilities and equipment for the expo.<\/p>\n
