{"id":1106,"date":"2015-11-02T12:00:07","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T20:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=1106"},"modified":"2016-05-04T09:51:10","modified_gmt":"2016-05-04T16:51:10","slug":"lakeview-students-learn-about-robotics-with-lego-mindstorm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=1106","title":{"rendered":"Lakeview students learn about robotics with Lego Mindstorm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mrs. Barry&#8217;s Lion Pride students at Lakeview Elementary School utilized the latest STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) techniques on Monday, Nov. 2.<\/p>\n<p>Students took part in a half-day program of analyzing robotic traits, writing about their ideal robot and completing a number of programing levels with Lego Mindstorm.<\/p>\n<p>This program has students building robots with Legos, and programing it to do various commands (move, detect light, stop in a specific line, make sound, etc.).
