The nominating individual also described how the candidate demonstrates the district&#8217;s four core values of excellence, collaboration, integrity, and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to congratulate all nine of our dedicated Employees of the Year,&#8221; shared Superintendent, Dr. Greg Plutko. &#8220;These individuals embody the spirit of servant leadership, and their passion in giving back to our students is undeniable. I am proud of their commitment, creativity, and collaboration &#8230; they embody the best of our district.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>PYLUSD has a long-standing tradition of surprising its Employees of the Year at their school sites or departments. On February 1, the district&#8217;s executive leadership team traveled from site to site on &#8220;Prize Patrol&#8221; to honor this year&#8217;s winners.<\/p>\n<p>They are:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Certificated<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Angelina Avila-Perez<\/strong><br \/>\nMabel Paine Elementary School<br \/>\nElementary School Teacher of the Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jim Hahn<\/strong><br \/>\nTuffree Middle School<br \/>\nMiddle School Teacher of the Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roger Galvan<\/strong><br \/>\nEsperanza High School<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Eron Campuzano<\/strong><br \/>\nActivities Director, El Dorado High School<br \/>\nCertificated Manager of the Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keith Carmona<\/strong><br \/>\nPrincipal, Kraemer Middle School<br \/>\nCertificated Manager of the Year<\/p>\n<p><strong>Georgia Danenhauer<\/strong><br \/>\nAdministrative Secretary, Superintendent\u2019s Office<br \/>\nClassified Manager of the Year<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Employee of the Year Selection Committee made their choices after reviewing all of the compelling nominations, said Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Kevin Lee. \u201cPYLUSD has the best and most caring employees, so the task of making this final selection was very difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The winners will also be recognized at the PYLUSD Board of Education meeting on February 13, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The district would like to thank all Employee of the Year nominees for the work they do every day to prepare each and every PYLUSD
