{"id":11894,"date":"2018-03-29T09:40:30","date_gmt":"2018-03-29T16:40:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=11894"},"modified":"2018-03-29T09:40:30","modified_gmt":"2018-03-29T16:40:30","slug":"building-industry-technology-academy-students-assist-with-vhs-library-renovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=11894","title":{"rendered":"Building Industry Technology Academy students assist with VHS library renovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valencia High School (VHS) is undergoing a library renovation to transform the facility into a makerspace that offers students the opportunity to create intellectual and physical materials using resources such as 3D printers, Google JamBoard, iMacs, iPads, LED screens, Google Surface Studio, and traditional arts and crafts supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Valencia&#8217;s own Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) students are assisting with the demolition process and will be building and installing a new circulation desk, as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bThe project is slated to be completed by the 2018-2019 school year and is grant funded.
