Third, fourth, and fifth grade students at Melrose Elementary School have the opportunity to participate in GOALS, an after school program that teaches kids how to ice skate, play hockey, and most important, how to be on a team.\u00a0 The students are held responsible for taking care of their gear, practicing good sportsmanship, and learning how to play well with others.<\/p>\n

Recently, the Melrose Marlins played a game against the Rio Vista Jaguars, another Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) school.\u00a0 Students practice and play after school at the Anaheim Ducks’ Ice Rink.<\/p>\n
