The weekend of April 14 and 15,\u00a0Yorba Linda High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) participated in the California State Leadership Conference in Ontario.\u00a0 Twenty FBLA members competed in a variety of different events focusing on various aspects of Career Technical Education. Students that place in the top 4 at this level of competition qualify to represent California at the National Leadership Conference in June in Baltimore Maryland.<\/p>\n

The Mustangs earned the following accolades:<\/p>\n

Rachel Allsup & Sydnie Chin, 3rd place Digital Video Production<\/p>\n

Wayne Chan , 1st place Impromptu Speaking<\/p>\n

Sarah Chen, Janet Han & Alice Ding, 3rd place Introduction to Business Presentation<\/p>\n

Dylan Shih, 3rd place Introduction to Financial Math<\/p>\n

\nAlso, Emily Remer was inducted as an FBLA State Officer representing the Southern Section.\u00a0 Emily will be leading the Southern Section in the 2018-2019 school year as president. Southern Section of FBLA has over 40 high school chapters of FBLA.<\/p>\n
