Parkview’s Performing Arts had quite the weekend. Performing to a sold out crowd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, students were stellar in their characters.<\/p>\n

Each night, the school’a secondary students — middle and high school — performed in “Into the Woods” first. One of the funniest parts of this story was when the baker’s wife tried to steal the shoe off Cinderella’s foot! And the cow was a huge hit\u00a0with\u00a0“mooing!”<\/p>\n

After a short intermission, the primary students took to the stage in “Aladdin.” One of the highlights in Aladdin, although the entire show was spectacular, was when the camel came through the audience carrying Aladdin! The audience was amazed and mesmerized.<\/p>\n

The costumes for both performances were incredible thanks to the creativity of Mrs. Jennifer Zonni and Mrs. Marti Edmonds and their team of helpers. They scour flea markets, fabric stores, Goodwill, and more to find one-of-a-kind items that are then made into costumes and props for all of Parkview’s yearly plays.\u00a0 Both plays were under the direction of a Parkview parent, Mrs. Summer Frey.<\/p>\n
