Now certified, he can teach App Inventor to students, as well as fellow\u00a0educators.<\/p>\n<p>According to MIT,\u00a0App Inventor is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows everyone \u2013 even children \u2013 to build fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets. Those new to MIT App Inventor can have a simple first app up and running in less than 30 minutes. The program&#8217;s\u00a0blocks-based tool facilitates the creation of complex, high-impact apps in significantly less time than traditional programming environments.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his almost 30-year teaching career, Mr. Eliot\u00a0has taught a number of computer related courses at both the high school and middle school levels.
