Students are learning how to use different mediums of art such as water colors, bleeding art tissue, color pastels, tempera paint, color pencils and so much more.<\/p>\n<p>In a more recent lesson, students were active listeners during a read aloud of &#8220;Go Away Big Green Monster&#8221; by children&#8217;s author, Ed Emberly. As they actively listened to the story, students used color pastels to draw the Big Green Monster and embellished their art piece with water color.<\/p>\n<p>Not only was this a fun experience, but they also implemented their knowledge of colors, size, location of facial features and equally important their attention to focus.
