Glenview Elementary School scholars celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 22-26 with a week\u00a0filled with special festivities around the theme of “Life Is a Journey – Travel Drug Free!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Students kicked off the week by pledging to “show respect” to their lives by signing their names to hand cut, red hearts<\/span>\u00a0posted on a special school-wide bulletin board created by Glenview’s PTA.<\/p>\n

Glenview’s school campus welcomed students on Monday, adorned\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0red ribbons tied\u00a0along fences<\/span>\u00a0and heart-shaped positive affirmations hanging from trees.<\/p>\n

Students celebrated the week’s theme by dressing up\u00a0in red,<\/span>\u00a0as tacky tourists, and<\/span>\u00a0for\u00a0c<\/span>razy\u00a0h<\/span>air\u00a0d<\/span>ay,\u00a0with some\u00a0many<\/span>\u00a0creative innovations to name just a few!<\/p>\n
