Valencia High School (VHS) ASB recently held a toy drive in benefit of local non-profit, Lot 318. Lot 318 is a local community organization who provides support for students and families in need in\u00a0the Placentia community. The Tigers were able to collect more than enough toys, with children\u00a0receiving\u00a0four toys each! In total, there were over 400 toys donated by local businesses, students, staff, and administration.<\/p>\n

In the end, there were even enough toys to be able to reach the children staying at HIS House,\u00a0which stands for Homeless Intervention Shelter and House. Their organization, across the street from Valencia,\u00a0assists individuals experiencing homelessness to regain self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

In addition to the toy drive, ASB students also raised almost $1,500 to be split between two Valencia families in need this holiday season. Great work, Tigers!<\/p>\n
