They went with 250 other people to build\u00a0eight\u00a0homes in three days.<\/p>\n<p>During their time in Mexico, they stayed at the Estancia Hotel where they wrapped 150 gifts for the local children and handed out 1,400 pounds of food. While some people were building the homes, another group built\u00a0eight bunk beds,\u00a0eight tables, and many benches.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan&#8217;s father, Mr. Guerrero, who is a native Mexican, translated for the gift distribution and installed the ground rods for all the homes. Unfortunately, there have\u00a0been several accidents and one recent death due to\u00a0insufficient\u00a0power lines before the volunteers arrived.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan played with the local children and through this experience believes it is important to go to places that need help and support them.
