On Saturday, February 9, 2019, 33 Yorba Linda High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members took part in the Southern Section Leadership Conference at Valencia High School in Placentia.<\/p>\n

The Mustangs competed against hundreds of students in various events such as Introduction to Business, Public Speaking, Impromptu, Financial Math, Entrepreneurship, Global Business, and more. For YLHS, all grade levels competed and they are very proud of our final results! Here is a list of students that placed in the top 10 in their events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

YL FBLA also placed 6th\u00a0out of 27 chapters to win Sweepstakes, a contest in which chapters win points for how many members placed in the top 10 in events. Last year\u00a0the Mustangs had placed 9th.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have another member that had interviewed for a position in the Southern Section Board. YL FBLA is proud to have Ishaan Sakhrani as Leadership Associate for Southern Section Board, where he will have a vital role in the management of Southern Section FBLA of over 30 chapters.<\/p>\n
