They then visited OC Animal Care to donate over 150 items collected.<\/p>\n<p>The school&#8217;s student leaders were taken on a tour of the facility to see dogs, cats, pigs, and chickens. The new facility in Tustin is a little over 10 acres and the community has come together to make this new location animal focused.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the directors praised our students for taking the time to organize this event to help support local animal rescues,&#8221; shared David Cammarato, principal. &#8220;The facility expressed the importance of young children&#8217;s knowledge of how to care for animals and the building of empathy toward animals in need.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Great work, Glenknoll PAL students!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glenknoll\u2019s PAL (Peer Assisted Leadership) students recently organized a school collection in benefit of local animals in shelters.
