Congratulations to Yorba Linda High School’s Musical Theatre, under the direction of Cathy Petz, for earning 25 MACY awards, including “2019 Best High School Production.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, April 29, the Mustangs brought home 21 trophies and 4 medals following the 49th MACYS Awards Ceremony at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. These awards included\u00a0\u201cShow of the Year\u201d for Little Women and “Best Actress,” won by junior Elyse Bell for her role as Jo March in Little Women. These awards are two of the most prestigious.<\/p>\n

Elyse will travel to New York in June to compete for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards and a $10,000 scholarship.<\/p>\n
