During the month of April, Travis Ranch School’s Junior Upcoming Medical Professionals (JUMP) Club organized a “baby shower” to benefit families living at H.I.S. House in Placentia. H.I.S. House, which stands for Homeless Intervention Shelter and House,\u00a0assists individuals experiencing homelessness to regain self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n

To add to the competitive spirit, students could dedicate their donation to a Travis Ranch teacher as part of the “Diaper Challenge.” The winning teacher, Mr. Plunkett, was a great sport and gladly wore an adorable baby costume for an entire day!<\/p>\n

In total, the students collected 800 diapers, 3,188 baby wipes, 5 baby monitors, 2 bottles of baby laundry soap, 8 bottles\/sippy cups, 9 tubs of formula, 5 jars of baby food, 63 clothing items, and 14 pairs of socks.<\/p>\n
