Notably, all of the school&#8217;s AVID seniors were\u00a0accepted to a 4-year university!<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few other AVID senior highlights as provided by the school:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students Andrea Cervantes &amp; Abraham Sanchez\u00a0were the first AVID\/IB Dual Diploma recipients in the school&#8217;s history.<\/li>\n<li>Four were Angels Scholars (Andrea Cervantes, Abraham Gutierrez, Abraham Sanchez, Eleazar Urreiro)<\/li>\n<li>Three received Kingston Technology Scholarship recipients ($6000 renewable scholarships)<\/li>\n<li>Student Viridiana Espinoza was awarded the HIU Presidential Scholarship<\/li>\n<li>Seniors attending Signing Day at UCLA with Michelle Obama<\/li>\n<li>First AVID senior (AVID\/IB candidate) accepted to UC Berkeley<\/li>\n<li>Angel Parmar &amp; Julian Venegas accepted to Honors College at Cal Poly Pomona<\/li>\n<li>82% of seniors will be attending a 4-year university<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;The world better make room!
