The new school year started with great\u00a0energy at Esperanza High School (EHS) with their second annual “Welcome Week.” Upon their arrival, students were enthusiastically welcomed\u00a0to campus by staff members, as well as ASB and Link Crew students.<\/p>\n

On the first day of school,\u00a0the entire student body attended a Toy Story-themed, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” pep rally assembly where each performance group and fall sports team had the opportunity to be highlighted. During this time, new staff members were introduced and the first of many “Clash of the Classes” competitions was held. In addition, students watched a video where each EHS staff member shared their hopes for the\u00a0Aztecs this school year.<\/p>\n

Student expectation assemblies and “Aztec Pride” PBIS assemblies rounded out another successful Welcome Week for EHS.<\/p>\n

“We are excited to continue to grow the Aztec Tradition of Excellence,” shared Principal Gina Aguilar.<\/p>\n
