Across the board, they ranked among the top schools in Orange County. Congratulations to all Mustang staff, students, and community for outstanding results on national and state exams!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">AP Testing<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Over 1,000 YLHS students successfully completed college-level coursework with a 92% AP pass rate\u00a0in mathematics, science, language arts, social science, world languages, fine arts and performing arts, and computer technology during their high school experience.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SAT Testing<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Yorba Linda&#8217;s\u00a0SAT mean score of 1211 out of 1600 is 146 points higher than the state average.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">CAASPP Testing<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>In CAASPP, a state exam administered to 11th graders,\u00a0YLHS ranks fourth (4th) in language arts and eight (8th) in math among more than 75 Orange County high schools. Of that, 84.29% of students met or exceeded the standards in language arts which is 34% higher than the state average.\u00a0In addition, 68.34% of students met or exceeded the standards in math which is 29% higher than the state average.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>LANGUAGE ARTS<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div>1. Oxford Academy (98.42% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>2. Troy High School (87.58% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>3. Fountain Valley High School (85.16% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div><strong>4. Yorba Linda High School (84.29% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>MATH<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div>1. Oxford Academy (95.66% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>2. Troy High School (80.16% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>3. Northwood High School (78.45% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>4. University High School (75.14% met\/exceeded state standards)<\/div>\n<div>5.
