Throughout the year, Ruby Drive Elementary School CASA\u00a0students have enjoyed visiting Sunrise Villa, a retirement and assisted living community, in order to read books to seniors. Students are responsible for choosing the book they would like to share. It’s a rewarding experience for the young students to give back to their community.\u00a0The senior citizens always express\u00a0great joy to have such lovely interaction with\u00a0Ruby Drive students.<\/p>\n

CASA, which stands for\u00a0County After School Activities, is designed to provide a safe space for students after school, and offers academic enrichment, homework centers, and tutoring, as well as a range of recreational opportunities.<\/p>\n
