{"id":18618,"date":"2020-01-23T16:06:21","date_gmt":"2020-01-24T00:06:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=18618"},"modified":"2020-01-24T11:16:10","modified_gmt":"2020-01-24T19:16:10","slug":"kraemer-middles-school-newspaper-recognized-for-website-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=18618","title":{"rendered":"Kraemer Middle School&#8217;s newspaper recognized for website excellence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the 3rd year in a row,\u00a0Kraemer Middle School&#8217;s newspaper, Cub Reporter, has been recognized for &#8220;site excellence&#8221; by SNO, otherwise known as School Newspapers Online.\u00a0SNO\u00a0provides affordable and professional WordPress websites, managed hosting, and mobile apps\u00a0to assist journalism\u00a0students at\u00a0K-12 schools and colleges.<\/p>\n<p>To earn this badge, Kraemer&#8217;s newspaper staff\u00a0had to customize their website homepage beyond the initial\u00a0template design with a clear sense of purpose for every element.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The editors have worked hard to get the newspaper up and running this year and we are so proud of all that they do,&#8221; Principal Michael Young noted.<\/p>\n<p>Kraemer&#8217;s newspaper editors\u00a0who contributed to the school&#8217;s website excellence are students\u00a0Darrius Huynh, Ethan Yang, Tyler Kuntz, Amrit Ranu, Hannah Montgomery, Naina Brar, Diego Gonzalez, and Shiven Jayakar. Way to go, Cubs!<\/p>\n<p>Kraemer Middle School\u2019s school newspaper, the Cub Reporter, has been providing school, local, and world-wide news since 2013. Their current staff is made up of 29 reporters and 9 editors.
