Lakeview Elementary School’s second graders recently participated in Hero Presentation Day! Ben Franklin, Rosa Parks, Roberto Clemente and a plethora of other heroes could be seen walking the campus at Lakeview. Each student chose a hero to write about, developed a presentation board, and dressed as their hero during the school’s “living museum.” Parents were then invited to interview the “little heroes.”<\/p>\n

“Their wealth of knowledge was evident and their smiles were even brighter!” Teacher Shannon\u00a0Vlastnik shared. “This event is one of our favorite activities all year.”<\/p>\n
