Dr. Adamson\u2019s appointment comes following a formal approval by the Board of Education at a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, July 7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In this role, Dr. Adamson will perform a wide variety of key functions relative to student achievement, curriculum and instruction, professional development, assessment, leadership development, and much more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the Board of Education, we welcome Dr. Adamson, an accomplished leader, into her new position,\u201d shared Superintendent Dr. Greg Plutko. \u201cHer extensive knowledge of our school district and community combined with her exceptional educational leadership skills are just a few of the many capabilities that make her the right choice for this distinguished position.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Dr. Adamson first began her career with PYLUSD in 2012 as the principal at Rose Drive Elementary School.
