This grueling tournament starts with the league where wrestlers must place to 4 out of 8 teams. Then they need to place top 6 out of 60 teams for the CIF individual. Then 6 CIF individual come together where wrestlers must place in the top 9 out of 360 schools. The state tournament has 13 sections that represent the best of over 1000 schools. Isaiah pinned his first two opponents, then won his quarterfinals match 3-1, then upset the state&#8217;s top-ranked wrestler 3-1. On Saturday, February 26, in front of thousands of fans, he beat Ronnie Ramirez from walnut 10-1. <br><br>Isaiah is El Dorado High School&#8217;s\u00a06th State Champion and youngest in the school&#8217;s history. Isaiah is now a CIF, Masters, and State Champion. This is a rare feat in the lower-weight divisions of high school wrestling.
