It also serves to increase community awareness of the importance of arts in education. This year\u2019s theme was, <strong>\u201cI Will \u00a0Change the World By\u2026\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><br><br>Artworks are submitted first to school-level PTAs, where they are first recognized, celebrated and judged by five grade-level divisions, while a non-judged Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs. School PTAs then choose a selection of entries to be judged by local PTA units, which are then sent on to councils and then districts for consideration.\u00a0<br><br>Zeke won 1<sup>st <\/sup>Place in the Fourth District PTA, an organization of the twenty councils which represent all of Orange County PTA members as well as members in a small portion of Los Angeles County.\u00a0<br><br>The final artworks submitted to California State PTA by districts are then considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit.
