Yorba Linda Food for Families is dedicated to providing a variety of high-quality nutritious foods for all who enter their pantry. Having been in use for a long time, the original Food For Families logo (below) had become outdated. Design Rescue, under the direction of teacher David Block, was approached about creating a more modern, inviting logo that their customers would recognize and remember.<br><br>Ava Aure, a senior at El Dorado High School, is the Junior Designer responsible for this project. In order to achieve her goal, Ava wanted to design a fun, inviting, and memorable logo. The smiles on her clients&#8217; faces said it all; Ava hit the mark with this design, which will no doubt be in use for many years to come.<br><br>Design Rescue was developed to provide service-learning through authentic, project-based assignments.\u00a0 North Orange County Regional Occupational Program (NOCROP) students at EDHS learn about business etiquette by providing pro-bono design services to a wide variety of businesses in and out of our community, programs within our school district, and non-profit organizations near and far. All projects are student-led, from running the client consultation to presenting the final work.
