Valencia High School\u2019s acclaimed AVID Program hosted its annual AVID Tailgate on October 14, 2022, in the quad prior to the varsity football game.\u00a0Students and families from both Kraemer and Valadez middle schools, along with families from all of Valencia\u2019s feeder elementary schools, joined us for a pre-game BBQ and an exciting football game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A National Demonstration School for AVID, Valencia High School promotes education beyond high school and has a 100% success rate in recent years moving our AVID students who are usually first-generation college-bound students to prestigious universities, community colleges, and military service.\u00a0

“The AVID Tailgate helps to promote our school culture to get future Tigers excited about being students at Valencia High School and their bright futures ahead of them,” Assistant Principal Paige Stills shared. “Our AVID Tailgate is all a part of Valencia\u2019s incredible support system for students.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
