During the <em>Great Kindness Challenge<\/em>, Rose Drive\u2019s Kindness Squad planned and implemented a full week of kindness acts of service and \u201ckindness challenges\u201d to share with their fellow roadrunners. Kindness challenges included activities such as a \u201cfind the hidden kind words around campus\u201d scavenger hunt, writing kindness notes to share with others, pledging to be kind on Rose Drive\u2019s \u201cSpread Kindness Like Confetti\u201d banner, reading a book about kindness, as well as playing a game with a new friend and helping them smile.\u00a0 Additionally, Rose Drive scholars signed a kindness poster to send love to their role models and former peers at Yorba Linda Middle School.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a wonderful week filled with great excitement, and that excitement continued with the Global Day of Play the following week.\u00a0The Rose Drive scholars had so much fun celebrating \u201cplay\u201d with extended recess, chalk art on the playground, dancing, board games, Legos, big and little buddy activities, kickball games, and so much more!
