Valencia High School students Thomas Wu and Kerry Wang (pictured above), accompanied by eight other local high school students, recently hosted a benefit concert to support Guide Dogs of America. The concert took place in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Performing Arts Center at El Dorado High School. Guide Dogs of America is a nonprofit organization that\u00a0trains service and guide dogs for visually impaired individuals, veterans, and children with autism. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high school students were able to raise over $10,000 from the concert sale. Net proceeds from the concert sale will go to Guide Dogs of America. This is Thomas’ third year with the non-profit organization Giving Harmony. Last year, with the help of Thomas and others, the nonprofit raised over $10,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
