On March 24, the CIF Southern Section office announced the Ford Academic Awards. Out of over 550 schools, two El Dorado teams were ranked first in their sport \u2014Football and Girls Golf. In addition, two athletes were recognized, Ethan Yochum in Boys Tennis and Natalie Veronese for Girls Soccer. Boys Baseball and Lacrosse came in 2nd place, and Boys Soccer came in 3rd place. Numerous other El Dorado High teams were given honorable mention status. The awards are based on team GPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are proud of our student-athletes and we appreciate the support all our coaches give to students’ academic success,” Principal Joey Davis shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
