Families moved from one classroom to the next, stopping to participate in a variety of math-themed games that had everyone putting their math acuity and speed to the test. Participants were called on to test their engineering skills with a marshmallow and toothpick structure-building activity, calculate the value of their names, use probability to calculate the chances of their soccer teams winning, and manipulate tangrams \u2013 to name just a few of the activities. Classrooms sported treat-filled containers, encouraging students to test their estimation skills for a possible win at the container of treats.
