The reason for this is that Dr. Beckman also holds Italian citizenship and has a close bond with the Italian students.\u00a0As a result, Dr. Beckman makes sure that the students form friendships and feel connected in the U.S., while simultaneously learning about American culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first event of the year, the six Italian exchange students from El Dorado and one from Valencia met at Luigi\u2018s d\u2019Italia restaurant in Fullerton on Wednesday, September 6 to dine on the best Italian food in Orange County. Meeting at Luigi\u2019s has become a tradition over the last three years for Italian students within PYLUSD.
