The class model includes a mentorship between students to practice academic and social skills. Community-based instruction, known as CBI, is designed to target the development of functional skills in natural, non-school-based environments after classroom instruction takes place.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Teachers Mrs. Makenna Smith and Mrs. Leanne Tangney, along with our incredible support staff, have done a wonderful job teaching this course.
