Glenknoll Elementary School first grade teacher Ms. Hoffman recently gave her students the opportunity to learn about the Chinese New Year.\u00a0Several parents were eager to come in and share their knowledge of this very special time in their culture. The students were thrilled to listen and hear about all the traditions and foods that they partake in at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese New Year, often referred to as Lunar New Year, is an annual festival in China and Chinese communities around the world that begins with the new moon that occurs sometime between January 21 and February 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
