From Tuesday, January 7, to Friday, January 10, sixth-grade students from Woodsboro Elementary School participated in a week-long outdoor science camp at the Emerald Cove Outdoor Science Institute. The camp provided students with a dynamic, hands-on educational experience, focusing on topics such as geology, wildlife biology, and ecology. Through interactive science experiments and guided hikes, students deepened their understanding of the natural world while actively engaging with their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sixth-grade camp offered a memorable blend of learning and recreation, featuring four nights of enriching activities. Students took part in daytime and nighttime hikes, which provided opportunities to explore the local environment and foster a deeper connection to nature. Additionally, shared meals, line dancing, karaoke sessions, and the cherished daily cabin time encouraged camaraderie and strengthened peer relationships.
