On June 6, Woodsboro Elementary School welcomed families to campus for the annual Wax Museum event, a culminating activity designed to showcase students\u2019 research and public speaking skills through the portrayal of notable historical figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 50 students participated in the interactive experience, donning costumes and embodying the personas of influential individuals from history. Each student brought their selected figure to life by presenting key facts, accomplishments, and contributions in character, creating an engaging and educational atmosphere for attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the event, students delivered formal oral presentations in their classrooms to further elaborate on the lives and legacies of the individuals they studied. The diverse group of historical figures represented included Albert Einstein, Rosa Parks, Marie Curie, Jane Goodall, Babe Ruth, Katherine Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II, Neil Armstrong, Walt Disney, Orville Wright, and Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wax Museum project not only enriched students\u2019 understanding of history but also fostered essential academic skills such as research, writing, and public speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
