On the first day of school, students and staff proudly wore their <em>Nest Over Everything<\/em> t-shirts and gathered on the turf field for a special all-school celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the festivities, each grade level came together to form a letter of \u201cEDHS,\u201d with freshmen as the \u201cE,\u201d sophomores as the \u201cD,\u201d juniors as the \u201cH,\u201d and seniors as the \u201cS.\u201d A highlight of the day was the Freshman Walk, when 520 ninth graders made their way to the final letter \u201cE.\u201d On one side, they were cheered on by teachers and staff, while on the other, upperclassmen offered their encouragement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meaningful tradition provided a warm welcome for the Class of 2029 and served as a reminder of the strong school spirit and supportive community that define El Dorado High School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"El Dorado High School&#039;s First Day of School 2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ShQVJ7aawuU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, El Dorado High School kicks off the school year with spirited traditions that bring the Golden Hawk community together.
