Linda Vista Elementary School observed Red Ribbon Week from October 27\u201331 with a series of engaging activities designed to promote healthy habits for both mind and body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week began with the campus adorned in bright red ribbons, symbolizing the school community\u2019s commitment to healthy decision-making. Students and staff wore red attire to demonstrate their support and pledged to make positive, healthy choices throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of the celebration included a dynamic BMX assembly that energized the entire school community. Additionally, representatives from Old Grove Orange hosted a mini farmers\u2019 market on campus. During this interactive experience, Transitional Kindergarten through fifth-grade students learned about the benefits of fruits and vegetables in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and each student was able to select fresh produce to take home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week concluded on Halloween as students arrived in costume to \u201cSay Boo to Drugs.\u201d This festive and engaging culmination reinforced Linda Vista Elementary School\u2019s ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy, safe, and drug-free future for all students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
