Students enrolled in Honors Geometry at Esperanza High School engaged in a hands-on design challenge that brought mathematical concepts to life. Using their understanding of similar figures, students created enlarged versions of everyday household items, applying scale factors and proportional reasoning to ensure accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the project, students collaborated to measure, construct, and refine their models, demonstrating critical thinking, precision, and attention to detail. The activity provided an opportunity for students to connect mathematical theory to real-world applications while showcasing creativity and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
