These performances brought together singers from across all grade levels, creating a districtwide showcase of vocal music and musical collaboration.

All 21 elementary schools were represented through three Elementary Honor Choirs, while every middle school and high school vocal program in the district participated. From the excitement of young elementary students taking the stage to the refined performances of secondary ensembles, the concerts beautifully illustrated the growth, dedication, and musical development of students as they progress through the district’s comprehensive music programs.

Held during Music In Our Schools Month, the festival served as a meaningful reminder of the talent, commitment, and passion demonstrated daily by both students and educators. Each evening highlighted not only exceptional musical performances, but also the strong sense of community and collaboration that defines music education across the district.

The Elementary Honor Choir was led by distinguished elementary music educators Mike Fenton, Enrique Ortega, Wei Fang, and Rachyl Rowden, whose leadership brought together students from every elementary campus.

The district’s secondary vocal programs were directed by an exceptional team of educators.

High School Choir Directors
Marlon Santizo, Esperanza High School
Megan Arthurton, Valencia High School
Michael Klein, El Dorado High School
Bincins Garcia, Yorba Linda High School

Middle School Choir Directors
Megan Arthurton, Kraemer Middle School
Marlon Santizo, Tuffree Middle School
Robert Seitz, Yorba Linda Middle School
Robert Seitz, Orange County School of Computer Science
Michael Klein, Travis Ranch School
Amanda Peronto, Valadez Middle School Academy

The three evenings of performances were hosted by Dr. Elisabeth Summers, Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator, who welcomed families and community members while highlighting the remarkable work taking place in classrooms and rehearsal spaces throughout the district.
