In recognition of World Down Syndrome Day, students participated in activities to build awareness and understanding of Down syndrome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students created unique socks for a campus display and participated in a schoolwide \u201cRock Your Socks\u201d day, wearing colorful, mismatched socks to show support. Observed annually on March 21 (3\/21), the day represents the triplication of the 21st chromosome, often symbolized by socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event also featured participation from the school\u2019s Principal for a Day.
