The students just celebrated their culminating carnival.  https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=2876  On Tuesday, March 22, the Morse fifth and sixth grade leadership team set up their booths and games for the culminating student-run carnival during lunch recess. Firefighters from Placentia also joined in on the fun. Morse raised $472.79, by selling tickets for the carnival. All proceeds will go to the Santa Ana Zoo to help endangered animals.  On Thursday, March 24, the Morse PTA provided a luncheon for the leadership team, and Placentia Police Chief Ward Smith joined them for his last day on the job before retirement. The students were given a Team Kids shirt, courtesy of the Placentia Police Department.  Morse was the first school in Placentia and the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District to team up with Team Kids.
