Ketchum University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, Sept. 28, 31 students from Esperanza High School&#8217;s Medical Sciences Academy visited Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton to learn about their optometry, physician&#8217;s assistant and pharmacy programs. Students rotated through six hands-on stations, including splinting, bones and breaks, a day in the life of a pharmacist, optometry and corrective technology, heart and lung disease simulation, and a virtual cadaver table that allowed them to virtually dissect and diagnose all kinds of issues. While students learned a tremendous amount of information, they also came back with an appreciation for the experience they are receiving at Esperanza.
