One evening, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher C.J. Wilson gave a motivational speech at his charity event, Bats and Brushes, featuring artwork by kids at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). He told the large audience that anybody can make a difference in their community. Listening in the crowd that night was seven-year-old Logan Wohlt from Glenknoll Elementary School. After hearing this message, Logan was inspired to give back.<\/p>\n

While attending Angels baseball games, he and his mother began collecting autographs from the players on baseballs and baseball cards. Rather than keeping the cards and balls for himself, Logan sends them to children who have been diagnosed with cancer across the United States. With more than 700 followers on Instagram (@baseballandbubblegum<\/a>), including professional athletes, coaches and media members, Logan is hoping to grant wishes for sick children around the world.<\/p>\n

Logan is truly a “Little Angel!”<\/p>\n
