{"id":7444,"date":"2016-12-20T10:00:55","date_gmt":"2016-12-20T18:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=7444"},"modified":"2016-12-19T15:11:22","modified_gmt":"2016-12-19T23:11:22","slug":"bicycles-for-disadvantaged-pylusd-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=7444","title":{"rendered":"Bicycles for disadvantaged PYLUSD kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bernardo Yorba Middle School Assistant Principal Steve Marshall and Ralph Garcia from the district&#8217;s maintenance and operations team unloaded and assembled bicycles on Saturday, Dec. 17, as part of a Bicycles for Children project.<\/p>\n<p>Bicycles for Children is a Corona-based nonprofit founded in July 2012 with the goal of donating bicycles to impoverished children in the Corona\/Norco Unified School District. The charity has grown in recent years, and now impacts PYLUSD children as well.<\/p>\n<p>The bikes will be delivered to students by their \u00a0elementary principals over winter break.
