Induction mentors, school and district administrators, and Board of Education members gathered to help honor 71 new teachers as they shared their portfolio of work from the school year.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the event theme, \u201cBe the Change,\u201d Superintendent Greg Plutko spoke to the crowd about the importance of mentors and the guidance, both professional and personal, that they devotedly offer.<\/p>\n<p>To close\u00a0the colloquium, Induction Coordinator Melanie Carmona presented each new teacher with a certificate of completion and a PYLUSD pin.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our new
