{"id":9549,"date":"2017-09-22T07:52:41","date_gmt":"2017-09-22T14:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=9549"},"modified":"2017-09-22T10:01:55","modified_gmt":"2017-09-22T17:01:55","slug":"new-online-ela-curriculum-implemented-at-esperanza-high","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goodnews.pylusd.org\/?p=9549","title":{"rendered":"New online ELA curriculum implemented at Esperanza High"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Esperanza High School students and staff are enjoying the new English Language Arts\u00a0(ELA) adopted series, StudySync. \u00a0StudySync is an online textbook complete with readings, excerpts, interactive activities, and skill-based assessments.<\/p>\n<p>Aztecs\u00a0are prepping for their first argument essay and completing skill assignments on introductions and conclusions before writing their own. They read a definition, look at examples, annotate, and then answer skill-based quiz questions to see if they understood the concept.
