Students at Wagner Elementary School engaged in an in-depth study of historical figures, culminating in a Biography Day event. As part of this experience, students brought their selected individuals to life by participating in a “living museum,” presenting their research through interactive, first-person portrayals. Families were invited to attend and had the opportunity to move from exhibit to exhibit, learning about each historical figure’s life, accomplishments, and lasting impact.
The event also welcomed first-grade students, who participated as audience members and benefited from this cross-grade learning opportunity. This culminating activity highlighted students’ growth in research, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. The Wagner Elementary School community commends students for their dedication and enthusiasm in bringing history to life.
